I am pleased to announce the release of GNU ed 1.10.

GNU ed is an 8-bit clean, more or less POSIX-compliant implementation of the standard Unix line editor.

The homepage is at http://www.gnu.org/software/ed/ed.html

The sources can be downloaded from http://ftpmirror.gnu.org/ed/ http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/ed/ or from your favorite GNU mirror.

The sha1sum is:
aba379f59b98ee4bae8f76f92b563827bd9e0e19 ed-1.10.tar.lz

This release is also GPG signed. You can download the signature by appending ".sig" to the URL.

Changes in version 1.10:

* "ed.texinfo" has been renamed to "ed.texi" following the advice of Automake[1].

[1] http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/info-gnu/2013-05/msg00007.html
"Use of Texinfo input files with '.txi' or '.texinfo' extensions is discouraged, and its use will raise warnings in the 'obsolete' category. You are advised to simply use the '.texi' extension instead."

Please send bug reports and suggestions to bug-ed@gnu.org

Regards,
Antonio Diaz, GNU ed maintainer.
