I don't see from your examples why find -mtime would elide large files.
These are the 3 files in the 'ls' output larger than 3GiB:
-rw-rw-r-- 1 threewaters threewaters 4193711507 Oct 2 19:01 2574.part
-rw-rw-r-- 1 threewaters threewaters 4652828672 Oct 6 14:08 3524.part
-rw-rw-r-- 1 threewaters threewaters 8152317952 Oct 3 09:12 3625.part
The middle one, '3524.part', appears in the output of find,
and the other 2 have been ruled out by -mtime 4: show only files
which have been modified exactly 4 days ago.
Do I miss something?
