When I start gdb 5.0, I get warnings such as warning: section .text not found in /usr/lib/libcma.1 warning: section .text not found in /usr/lib/libc.1 warning: section .text not found in /usr/lib/libdld.1 This is hpux 10.20. It uses different section names like $TEXT$, $CODE$, etc. Thus, the warnings are bogus. However, is gdb looking for text in shared libraries under hpux correctly? Dave -- J.
