Although it changes with situations, probably it is as follows.

In the case of a dumb parser,

        NA
        reference
        other than definition
        ...

In the case of an intellectual parser,

        function call
        variable reference
        macro call
        use of operator
        ...

When the field is used only as interface of GLOBAL
with the --gtags option, the followings are clear.

        R
        GRTAGS
        PARSER_REF_SYM
        ...
        (Human beings don't read this.)
