Hi,
I have a question concerning the equivalent Snowie 4 error rate. I’ve read
on your Output of an Analysis that “An investigation of approximately 300
matches showed the on average the gnubg error rate with be 1.4 times higher
than your Snowie 4 error rate”. All the same, when I compare for example the
final game 2006, Luigi_Villa vs. Philip_Vischjager I get a gnubg average error
rate of 17,4 (LV), 14,9 (PV) and the error rate calculated by the same formulae
as Snowie 4 is 8,9 (LV), 14,9 (PV).
And when I run the game on Snowie 4 itself, I get an average error rate of
6,073 (LV), 4,395 (PV).
Now, where’s the y = 1.4x relation? The same happens when I compare other
matches/games. Am I missing something here?
How and with which statistical figures can I compare Snowie’s and gnubg’s
results?
    Thanks
