Christian,

I noticed in the Changelog this entry:

Fri Apr 27 00:04:02 CEST 2007 Christian Anthon <[email protected]>

        * eval.c, gnubg.c, gtkoptions.c, set.c, show.c: removed egyptian
rule

And a thread of messages on the mailing list between Oystein and yourself
about the Egyptian rule support being removed:

http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg01715.html
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg01724.html

Oystein suggested its removal, but no one gave a final reason. Of course the
weights and evaluation will not make sense for these variants (It appears
GnuBG may have warned the user of this).
