Hi, As long as the sources are unmodified, it's perfectly ok to just make a reference to where the sources are available from. This has been the common practice in the GNU community for many years. I remember this was a discussion in the mid 90s if Linux distributors should/must provide sources for all the GPLed systems or just make them available on a web site or something similar. I remember my Red Hat 4 (1996?) distribution came with one installation CD and one source CD.
As long as the sources are available in the CVS or a tar.gz file for download, we're all ok. Short answer: Don't worry. -Øystein On Fri, Feb 11, 2011 at 10:49 AM, motiv4u <[email protected]> wrote: > 2011/2/11 Christian Anthon <[email protected]>: > > If we could just get rid of our gtk1 legacy I'll be happy. > > > > Christian. > > Just a side note: > > On http://www.gtk.org/download-windows.html, GTK.org stipulates: > > You are welcome to redistribute GTK+ binaries, including applications > that bundle them, on other web sites, CD-ROM, and other media.
