Hi, I just installed gnupod and it seems to work nicely on my iPod
classic,
except that artwork doesn't show up for any of my songs (artwork is
embedded in my mp3 files).
IIRC embedded artwork is not supported by gnupod. You will have to specify
the artwork manually with --artwork parameter. See
http://www.gnu.org/software/gnupod/gnupod.html#SEC17
Embedding artwork inside an ID3 tag is bad idea IMHO anyway, and bloats
your mp3s.

Is artwork for iPod classic currently supported in gnupod? I noticed
that
it is not listed as an alternative for the 'model' parameter in
gnupodrc.example.
Since you mention 120GB, it looks like you have a 6th generation (6G) iPod
Classic (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ipod )
I have a 5G myself, and the artwork works just fine. I think it should
also work for the 6G, but I could be wrong.
In any case you need to specify the following in your .gnupodrc:

model = video

Cheers,

Richard
