Follow-up Comment #1, bug #67202 (group groff):

I used the attached to try to reproduce. I got different results using
different viewers and zoom levels. The gnome based viewers (evince/atril) lost
the two left hand corners for the two thinnest line thickness at 50% zoom
level. gv was the worst showing a noticeable thickness difference on the
corners of the thinnest lines. You can see in the attached screenshot the
perceived difference is down to anti-aliasing of the rounded corner, some
viewers are better than others!

I'm afraid this is not much help with reproducing the "big thick line" issue,
I was not able to reproduce it, but I suspect the problem lay with the viewer
used, I know I had issues with kpdf back in the day.
