Right, but "contains" is not "is." The query is asking only about properties
of Fred, not about properties of the clubs he belongs to.

He has to have a flags property, else he can't do his one job, which is to
store flags. But yeah, beyond that, he's a fairly empty vessel. (Hence
always trying to trick Fred out of his breakfast cereal.)

I don't see his wording as that definitive. Tellingly, "can be referred to in
the `cflags' request" gives no detail on what specifically the cflags request
then does with that named set of characters.
In any case, though: as I said in bug #67571, I greatly respect his
documentation abilities, but in general I've found his code more definitive
than his text about it.
