Follow-up Comment #15, bug #67544 (group groff): Bjarni's solution in comment #2 is less ambitious: it makes U-TR available to devps but does not fix TR itself. This makes improved kerning available, but it won't be picked up unless users specify a U- font in their documents. And it won't help things like man pages, which due to their greater portability needs, can't ".ft U-TR" or similar.
