Of course!

Note that I did manage to install Grub through a floppy disk yesterday,
although it took me quite a lot of floppies :) And when run from the floppy
it *did* recognize that (hd0,5) is an ext2fs code 83 partition (and the swap
drive was recognized, too), it read files from it. And it boots flawlessly
installed in MBR now.

Any ideas?
