I think to remember he did already. Your point was that Debian stable didn't have am >> 1.5 right? Well, in unstable (which is the relevant for development issues) 1.5 has been deprecated to the point the automake maintainer decided to get rid of it. > How soon? > > I would be happy to help Debian maintainership process, but I don't want to be > forced to do anything only for Debian, in particular, if you say to me that we > need to migrate within one week. The question is that I don't want to maintain patches if they're not going to merge. So if you agree to update automake, tell me which version (preferably 1.7.7) and I'll update it in Debian inmediately. -- Robert Millan "[..] but the delight and pride of Aule is in the deed of making, and in the thing made, and neither in possession nor in his own mastery; wherefore he gives and hoards not, and is free from care, passing ever on to some new work." -- J.R.R.T, Ainulindale (Silmarillion) _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
