/**************************************************************************/ [bugs #9659] Full Item Snapshot: URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=9659> Project: GNU GRUB Submitted by: Egmont Koblinger On: Thu 07/15/04 at 20:14 Category: User Interface Severity: Major Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Software Error Resolution: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Egmont Koblinger Originator Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Status: Open Release: 0.95 Reproducibility: Every Time Planned Release: Summary: vga: 79 vs 80 columns Original Submission: It seems to me that grub never uses the rightmost column of the vga screen. At least it wraps after the 79th column when a kernel with a long command line is being booted and this is reported in the top of the screen, and when using the cat builtin to show a file. Patch attached, it works for me and I haven't noticed any side effects. I tested the two situations mentioned above with 79, 80, 81 char long strings and it was always ok.
