Follow-up Comment #2, bug #15590 (project grub): Sorry but the first patch had a problem. It didn't properly reserve space for the BSS section, so the symbol table was copied into BSS space and destroyed during the kernel's boot.
I've fixed this in the new patch by making GRUB put the symbol table after the BSS space, if any. (And now NetBSD properly loads the symbols :-) _______________________________________________________ Additional Item Attachment: File name: grub-elf-addr.diff Size:1 KB New patch. <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?item_id=15590&item_file_id=3348> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=15590> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list Bug-grub@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
