Follow-up Comment #1, bug #15590 (project grub): I've attached a patch that "fixes" the issue. I'm quite sure that its first chunk is correct but unfortunately the second one is possibly a hack.
Not that it matters much, I think, because: 1) GRUB-Legacy and the Multiboot specification (v 1) will be deprecated. Better to have a fix that mostly-works than none. 2) At the moment, no other kernel aside NetBSD could use this feature, so this hack won't break anything. Oh, BTW... I'm sending this against GRUB Legacy because this is what almost everybody is using now. This means many Linux distributions. It'd be nice if those boot loaders installed by them could boot NetBSD without problems, even before they do the switch to GRUB 2. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=15590> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list Bug-grub@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
