Hello, i installed ubuntu karmic on a new pc on january . in boot directory there are all the mod files of GRUB2 and the related commands are available at every kernel upgrade the menu.lst is modified but the grub.cfg is not changed since the first installation. i tried grub-mkconfig and i got correctly generated the various scripts, but nothing happened on grub.cfg.
