Follow-up Comment #3, bug #33733 (project grub):
I will say, though, that the documentation for which device to boot from, sda
or sda1, was ambiguous. Some info said something , like "choose both if
you're not sure which is your bootable device", and doing so caused warnings
like "this is a bad idea." Couldn't grub detect which is the bootable
partition?
