Follow-up Comment #6, bug #42026 (project grub): I am having the same issue on Gentoo using GRUB 2.02~beta2. SOL works just fine in Linux but GRUB refuses to use the port. This is a fairly new machine with a new installation (2 months give or take) and it has never had an older GRUB version installed.
