Follow-up Comment #6, bug #44448 (project grub): Well, here it beats me. I'm not (yet) a C programmer, so while I can figure out how to set breakpoints in gdb, I don't know how to add "top level printf" in a C program. And without that gdb only outputs multiple "no debugging symbols found" statement, and finally says "Program exited normally"...
What I did: gdb grub-fstest (gdb) b grub_zfs_open (gdb) run /dev/ada1 ls /ROOT/etc./zfs.ko I can only add so far, that this problem doesn't exist in grub-2.02-beta2.tar.gz that's available for download at git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/grub.git .So it was introduced later on. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?44448> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ _______________________________________________ Bug-grub mailing list Bug-grub@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-grub
