I can't speak for the others; but as far as I'm concerned, it's perfectly OK, and I would be very grateful :-) We need to take care however that people don't get wrong ideas... People should know that the Hurd is still active and making progress, but at the same time is not quite fit as a Linux replacement yet, nor likely to be any time soon; that it can't really compete in many regards, but the unique features make it interesting in spite of that... -antrik-
