I am providing information and impressions from my own experience and knowledge in order to help the original poster have a better idea how to figure out what is wrong. I am not stating a diagnosis, just likely relevant information. Your stance is that he is not going to figure out anything anyway, and that he should provide more information to people having more of a clue. I don't like that approach.
