I installed your patches, except I changed
The changes look OK, thanks. Not sure what is meant by "installed", as
these changes are not yet publicly visible on Savannah, here:

Maybe you still need to do a "cvs commit"?
By the way, do you happen to know why Savannah is still using CVS for
gnustandards, web pages, and a few other things? I stopped using CVS
decades ago except for Savannah, and now use CVS so rarely that I
consult a cheat sheet every time I use it. If we switched that stuff to
Git it'd be a lot friendlier to newcomers as well as to longtime hackers
such as myself.
