#1661: Unable to send saved tags by entering number (must have)

Comment(by jeremy):
Actually if the symptom is showing "FAIL Contact not found", it's because
typing happens to an unexpected space implicitly leading the number string
with the keyboard, but not related to phone functionality. When typing
with the keyboard, it adds a space character leading the word, even the
first word. This indeed somehow makes confuse.

Comment(by zecke):
Wendy do you have a test plan for this now? Local timezone is varying for
people. So it is best to say what you use even the time..
I'm a bit confused with your results. Is the device waking up or not? Is
it sometimes waking up? Is it a matter of suspending too early (before
playing an alarm)? Is the alarm screen not put to foreground? Is the sound
played at all?

How much CPU does it use?
Are you using FSO MS2? There was a bug there which resulted in CFG-
Packets bouncing back and forth and has already been fixed.
Please provide more details so I can take a look at that.

Yeah, the patch I wrote to make tangogps use the DBus signals is
incomplete. (listening to the time is missing). We might think about
another way so tangogps will get NMEA data again.

Comment:
We need to gather some information before asking the gpe guys to take a
look. Could you get a backtrace or at least a core for us and attach it to
the bugreport (core file might contain parts, all of your task data...)
backtrace:
login on ssh:
opkg install gdb
opkg install gpe-todo-dbg
export DISPLAY=:0
gdb gpe-todo
> run
quit the application with the gui..
If it crashed type bt and attach the output to this bug
core file:
ulimit -c 9999999
export DISPLAY=:0
gpe-todo
quit the application with the gui.
a file called core.* should exist now.. if no personal information is
contained feel free to attach it to the bug report.

Julian could you please add libgpewidget 0.117 to org.openmoko.asu.dev
(don't forget the checksums.ini)? According to gpe developers libgpewidget
0.117 is supposed to have this issue fixed.

Comment(by wendy_hung):
Honestly, i don't have test plan to do it now. The local time zone is
GMAT+8.
The device will wake up only when you close setting and you are at home
screen. But when i set the suspend time too short like 10 seconds, it will
wake up with no alarm then 10sec. later it sleep again, like some ghost
wake it up.
The alarm sound did not play every time, especially in those "wake up by
ghost" case, no any sounds...
