#1835: A better fix for host endianness of dfu-util
-------------------------------+--------------------------------------------
Reporter: wiml | Owner: openmoko-devel
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: normal | Milestone:
Component: host utilities | Version:
Severity: normal | Resolution:

Reproducible: always | Blocking:

Comment(by wiml):
See also: #684 (original endianness bug report), the change in r2770 (when
the code my patch changes was added), and r3830 / r3831 (when said code
was made more portable but still unnecessarily system-dependent).

Reboot more then 6 times, every time will show up dialog to ask you the
pin number.
But not immediately, it's around 20~30 sec. We think it should show up
pin-dialog before goes to Home screen just like the usual phone that we
use, Will, what do you think?

I just upgraded using the "testing" repo that I found here:
td723045ef1958.html#a729417]
it now awakens the device and notifies me of a new message.

Yes,
PIN dialogue should really be the first thing you see before home screen.
