it's standard behaviour of ps, from man 1 ps:

or a decimal representation otherwise.

default width for user is I think 8, if you want more, you could patch
procps, or use your own format instead of 'u', for instance:
$ ps axo user:30,pid,pcpu,pmem,vsz,rss,tname,stat,start_time,bsdtime,args
So it isn't bug. hth

blank as in black. So it is not white screen of death?
It sounds a lot like ompower leaving the backlight off or the kernel
ignoring/resetting it. Sadly raster refused to cooperate with andy on this
issue...
What you could test is trying to manually enable the backlight again.
cat /sys/class/backlight/pcf50633-bl/brightness (and put the brightness
here)
echo 63 > /sys/class/backlight/pcf50633-bl/brightness (max brightness)

When screen is locked I feel free to put handset into a pocket. But I
steel hear sounds of click on every step.
I think screen locker better to switch of sound of clicks.

Using the Project Gutenberg Custom ISO Creator
(http://snowy.arsc.alaska.edu/pgiso/index.php) you are able to create ISO
files witch Gutenberg documents resticted to your wishes. You choose your
document scope based on Gutenberg etext numbers (e.g. 1-30000, this should
include all free documents of Gutenberg AFAIK), your prefered document
format (e.g. TXT), document language (e.g. German) and get an ISO file
containing all relevant documents.

I confirm the workaround using xset s off. Using stable om2008.08 image
from 20080802. Without this setting FR will blank (screensaver) and thus
suspend (while connected via usb cable the ssh connection brakes).
