 I had changed the gpsd daemon script to use start-stop-daemon in this

 We use the Qtopia image(which used in GTA01) to install in GTA02, here is
 the link we download [
 http://www.qtopia.net/modules/mydownloads/viewcat.php?cid=6 ]

 The result below:
 After boot time---> show up the home screen with "No network" and a little
 progress wheel running, but the signal strength bar show up full signal
 immediately. The totally time for the device get signal and show up than
 can let you make a phone call is less than 20 seconds (incould open
 dialer).

 Now sometimes if I click on Exit, the message desappear, and sometimes
 does. When the message doesn't desapper the phone is unusable, but the usb
 link is up, and workin on remote there's no problem.
 This white screen some times appear also during the loading phase, when
 the green square is bouncing left and right. I've updated many times but
 the problem persist.

 Now I give you some infos.
 I've the Freerunner with the 2008.8 with last updates. I've the 2008.8
 repository (all) and the Multiverse repository.

 I've attached the opkg list_installed and teh dmesg

Comment(by vnevoa):

 I'm glad you understood it, because I still don't! :)

 Anyway, here's a new section of logread, this time with a simpler use
 case:
 1 - make a voice call;
 2 - end the call;
 3 - wait for reception of "current pre-paid sale" message.
 So this time there are no other SMS messages in the log to create
 confusion. :)

 So, the content of the received message (that is shown to me by qtopia) is
 the last line: "00340035002E003200350020004500550052" (and is shown "as-
 is", without any translation - or even line breaks, but that's another
 problem).
 Using the page you linked does not seem to work... I don't think it can
 translate this.
 Thanks!

Comment(by vnevoa):

 Using this page:
 http://www-atm.physics.ox.ac.uk/user/iwi/charmap.html
 I was able to correctly decode my received message
 "00340035002E003200350020004500550052" = "45.25 EUR"
 which is the content I expected. :)
 Conclusion: it uses Unicode, but it is not a complete PDU - it has no meta
 info.

 Ok, after reading #1832 and #1226, I know that the received message is a
 Unicode USSD.
 So, when is Treviño's patch for "*xxx#" commands and USSD support going to
 be integrated? :)
 Obviously, it would also need to be checked for Unicode compatibility.

Comment(by Treviño):

 Unfortunately I've not an OpenEmbedded tree here (just using the toolchain
 :P), so I can't post a .bb file, BTW I'll attach here the patch needed to
 configure and compile the python package using only the Openmoko
 dependency.

 About the bitbake file, I guess that you should just include that patch
 and then adding the "--enable-python" configure flag and allow to package
 the contents of $DESTDIR/usr/lib/python2.5/* in some python-mokoui2*
 packages...
