Don't know if this is the reason behind this bug bug when I try to read
the SMS:s with libgsmd-tool it segfaults:

Comment(by chgros):
I looked at the code, and it looks like there's no support for mouse
scaling (rotation / offset only). I'm trying to add it, but since I'm not
familiar with the code base it might be quite hackish. I'll post patches
once I've got something working, and then whoever is responsible can use
them. I really want this fixed!

Comment(by chgros):
I got something to work.
See attached patch.
The glamoc->backend_funcs.randrSetConfig =
GLAMORandRSetConfig;//fbdevRandRSetConfig;
actually handles offset in landscape mode, not scaling.
Please review.

Could the [http://moko.mwester.net/brc.html mwesters brc fix] solve
(workaround) the issue also in om2008?
I guess that the code is quite the same...

#2013: qpe searches /media/card recursively

Comment(by TimoJyrinki):
This should really be fixed in code, not only via manual config file
changes.
Basically if one uses eg. OpenStreetMap maps, qpe will make the phone
about unusable. One possible choice would be to hard-code exclusion of
"OSM" directory on the card, since already I think most programs are
configured to use that as the OSM directory.
Or is the qpe indexing needed for much anything, after all? I'm currently
using openmoko-mediaplayer2 (compiled with ALSA output) so I don't need
Qtopia's music indexing either.

Just to mention that I've duplicated the result with the standard Qtopia
4.3.3-snapshot release for the GTA02, so it's definitely an upstream
issue.
Should I try and file a bug with Trolltech/Nokia ?

SMSs are stored on flash with recent messages stored on the SIM.
Move the SMS text messages from one location to another.
I would like to be able to store the messages qtmail_db.sqlite on the SD
card to upgrade the data on the flash and keep my messages upto date.
Any distro using qtmail would be able to access the sms from the same
location. If all the mail is stored on flash (backed up on SD), I would be
able to recover messages after a flash update.
