Perfect! That stopped the uvm_fault occuring, scanning now works well; however when actually connecting to an AP I get a number of bwi0: watchdog timeout and although it successfully can acquire a DHCP address on bootup, no traffic can be passed. (pings and traceroutes just hang without output). I will re-add in the debug code that Stefan provided before and post another dmesg tomrrow unless different debug code would be needed for a watchdog timeout error?
