I've encountered a serious issue with 5.9 release. The system denies to boot on CPU in multi-core mode. First I installed OS on my notebook and it works properly. When I tried to install OS onto Gigabyte MoBo, the system became reset right after it enumerated the first processor in the system. After several resets I got my BIOS corrupted. I use custom patches with installation image to make other systems run, so I downloaded vanilla image and tried to install it. The result is the same. The system goes reset after it enumerates first processor. I tried to run OpenBSD 5.8 installation image and it worked correctly. When I turned active processors to 1 in BIOS setup, OpenBSD 5.9 began to work flawlessly. Furher experiments with multi-core mode discovered that BIOS gets corrupted even before bootloader prompt appears. None of these symptoms appeared on OpenBSD 5.8. The system is running OpenBSD 5.9 stable release generic config with 3rd party patches and 5.9 errata patches.
