The commit message that imports the code should note what revision it came from. After the code is imported in one commit, a second commit should make any changes necessary using purely additive code changes. Additions must be wrapped with `#ifdef __rtems__` and instead of removing code you can wrap it with `#ifndef __rtems__`.
