The temporary holding area is where they are right now, i don't want to pollute 
contrib/ with broken history the whole point is to be able to cleanly identify 
our changes.  Once we wind back the changes we're going to have large blobs 
that will make it impossible to figure out what's going on which breaks the 
entire purpose of this move.

We have a similar policy to patches we don't allow them to be committed because 
they end up staying around and I'd argue the same applies here: if we move it 
it'll just stay.  The point is to make careful decisions on moving it.

I put a lot of effort getting this setup and I'm really not feeling 
circumventing that effort for.. well, I don't understand why you're trying to 
do this move?  What's the point? let's do it properly, please.
