The change was discussed last year and agreed upon. I like being able to see 
what is imported into the project. The scattered collection had become a head 
ache and difficult to view. I see the change as clear, transparent and most 
importantly the rule is simple, put contributed under `contrib`. A few extra 
includes should not hurt us.

In regards to `spacthings`, I see it as new and green. I wish you well growing 
a community and users and I am happy to revisit it once you have. I found the 
scattered contrib files difficult to track and I think adding another layer of 
indirection via a series of YAML fragments even harder.
