Chris Johns commented on a discussion on spec/build/cpukit/cpuriscv.yml: https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/rtos/rtems/-/merge_requests/1222#note_149269 > - cpukit/score/cpu/riscv/include/rtems/score/cpu.h > - cpukit/score/cpu/riscv/include/rtems/score/cpu_asm.h > - cpukit/score/cpu/riscv/include/rtems/score/cpuimpl.h > + - contrib/cpukit/riscv-opcodes/encoding.h The change was discussed last year and agreed upon. I like being able to see what is imported into the project. The scattered collection had become a head ache and difficult to view. I see the change as clear, transparent and most importantly the rule is simple, put contributed under `contrib`. A few extra includes should not hurt us. In regards to `spacthings`, I see it as new and green. I wish you well growing a community and users and I am happy to revisit it once you have. I found the scattered contrib files difficult to track and I think adding another layer of indirection via a series of YAML fragments even harder. -- View it on GitLab: https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/rtos/rtems/-/merge_requests/1222#note_149269 You're receiving this email because of your account on gitlab.rtems.org.
