Christian Mauderer commented on a discussion: https://gitlab.rtems.org/administration/infra/-/work_items/126#note_157112 Like I explained in https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/rtos/rtems/-/work_items/5657#note_156668 I think there is a big difference between a cryptographic signature and a `Signed-off-by`. A cryptographic signature allows you to verify who someone is. A `Signed-off-by` is a legal statement that the person writing the commit accepts the projects rules. I think a cryptographic signature is a great idea from a security point of view. So it would be good to have one. But it does not solve the issue in https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/rtos/rtems/-/work_items/5657 -- View it on GitLab: https://gitlab.rtems.org/administration/infra/-/work_items/126#note_157112 You're receiving this email because of your account on gitlab.rtems.org.
