Amar Takhar commented on a discussion: https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/rtos/rtems/-/work_items/5657#note_157123 This is what happens when you add a commit to RTEMS. We don't need an additional extra level of affirmation. While I can appreciate larger projects that receive lots of funding want to extend themselves to this we do not. The offer of free work is a burden. It's not useful for us. Again, while I can accept commercial interests find this valuable it it snot valuable to the project. Maybe if someone offered ongoing funding for this we'd consider it but we minimialise our efforts. There is no value in constantly arguing that a commercial body finds it valuable for their commercial interests but offers no funding the project. Please stop. All of you should stop our efforts on are on a volunteer basis if you want something to happen that helps your business pay for it. Figure it out and let's close this discussion thank you. -- View it on GitLab: https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/rtos/rtems/-/work_items/5657#note_157123 You're receiving this email because of your account on gitlab.rtems.org.
