Amar Takhar commented on a discussion: https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/rtos/rtems/-/work_items/5657#note_157137 We're not lawyers we're developers so I don't really care about the legal point of view. RTEMS has a long development history adding more files and docs to strengthen any legal point of view is pointless some year down the road someone else will think of another thing we need to do. I don't know why we need to complicate our development. RTEMS is 2BSD licensed and anyone contributing code has to accept that. The rest is entirely up to the user, period. They should make whatever moves they need to to protect themselves the project doesn't need to assert anything here because whether we add a DCO or Signed-off-by we're going to say the same thing: don't trust anything people can lie. -- View it on GitLab: https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/rtos/rtems/-/work_items/5657#note_157137 You're receiving this email because of your account on gitlab.rtems.org.
