@msheppar I tested this on Windows 10 and 11. I don't have access to any older 
systems. But I tried to be careful about which APIs I used. I'm pretty sure I 
checked the MS docs for all of them, and they all exist since Vista/Server 
2008. So this should work on all the versions you listed.
