Length: 8-12 months weeks W/ option for additional time

Requirements:
· Must have 3-5 yrs of production support & operations of SQL
Server 2012 & 2008 RDBM's including: { Configure, implement, Migrate/Merge
replication in a Clustered environment}
· Ability to migrate from SQL Server 2000 and 2005 to SQL Server
2008
o migrate SQLAgent jobs,
o maintenance plans,
o SSAS/SSRS/SSIS packages
· Ability to build and execute test plans for migration w Solid
understanding of:
o Backup/Recovery Strategies,
o Indexing & performance Tuning,
o Data Migration,
o Security,
o Capacity Planning
· Position requires routinely looking beyond what is requested to
create greater value and process efficiency
· Candidate will work in a highly decentralized and customer facing
environment.
· Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
· Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator.
· Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of
this project.
