I am into butterflies just recently - so I am still getting educated . It could
be a Tamil Spotted Flat.

Our butterfly conservatory was planned to be a reptile park ( which was my main
interest until I got totally hooked to butterflies !) , but as permissions from
Forest Department was hard to come, we went ahead with the butterfly
conservatory. Nobody regrets that decision !

Spotted a Tricolour Pied flat flying in circles with a Common Spotted Flat.
Although I didn't manage to photgraph them togather , I did get them
individually . It didn't look like an aerial territorial battle , but it is
odd for them to be flirting across species.
