Hi Kalluri,

Can you please also add (i) in which mode (Shutter priority / Aperture Priority
/ etc) the pictures were shot, (ii) what was the ISO used?

cheers

      Dear Chittaranjan,
Here actually it is nothing to do with shutter speed or aperture,  select to
suit the lighting conditions. The problem comes with synchronising the act,
visually almost impossible except for luck(in Jayanthi river I got Chain
Swordtail with one out of two shots which I recognised while editing - file
attached).
This time, I used high speed continuous mode and I din't stop until 20
frames, then checked & all are good shots but only two are synchronised . One
advantage with this act is normally it will not get disturbed quickly and will
give sufficient time to think.

Dear Shri Subramanyam,
Excellent photograph. What was the shutter-speed?
I read about this  feed & bleed behavior of butterfly in the book
(Paschembanger Prajapati) by Shri Judhajit Dasgupta.

      Dear All,
Common Jay secreting urine while puddling, I observed it for about 15 minutes,
before it got disturbed. The jets are continuous for every second, that means
the sucking is so fast.
