proper forum is organized by topics and sub topics and if you have a question
you do not have to read 600 posts to get an answer. discord is like trying to
get a question answered on twitter or over the radio.

The BVARC Discord is used for a few different things. First let me explain the
format. We have several different "Channels" which are essentially chatrooms
specialized to different topics. Some of those channels include: "General" for
general conversation among our members, "local-nets" for discussion or follow
up on our nets, "equipment-sales" for posting equipment for sale and to ask if
anyone has a particular item, "parks-on-the-air" for discussion about POTA and
about our monthly POTA events. Discord is generally accessed via the "Discord"
app, but can also be accessed via the Windows or Mac program available on their
website Discord.com, or directly in your computer browser.
To join our Discord "Server", first download the app from your app store.
Create an account (you can use our format "Name - Call Sign", or use any

everyone knows who you are. Once you have the app installed and an account
created, follow this link on your phone (or computer if you are logged in via
the PC or Mac program).

and lots of events coming up, so everyone stay tuned on all our platforms
(Facebook group, email reflector, and Discord). BVARC POTA on March 26th at
