New SKCC Members as of April 23, 2023
Please welcome the following new members of the SKCC family
Watch for them on the air and help them get started on their first SKCC
QSO's!
Here are some of their reasons for joining the SKCC
27406 - W5VZB - Bear - San Antonio - NM
I learned the code the wrong way, short letters first.
Never got over the 'hump' so I could enjoy CW. Asked a friend
yesterday, a really good operator, about doing code practice (now that
I'm retired), and he said join SKCC and get real practice. Sounds like
a great idea.
PS the name on my license is Eric K Albrecht.
I've been known as Bear since the 60s.
27407 - MW7BIH - Donald - Newport Wales UK - ENG
Jon KC1FUU told me about SKCC. I'm busy learing Morse Code with the help

For many years I have wanted to be a good telegraph operator, but have
not been able to break the 15 wpm barrier. I hope to achieve this by
joining SKCC.

27424 - YU1XW - Brani - Beograd - SER
All my life I have been determined to promote CW as a unique form of
communication and thus save it from disappearing. As technology
advances, I find myself returning more and more to the mechanical keys I
started with back in 1972. CW forever! 73 de YU1XW
27425 - K2EJT - Evan - Endicott - NY
I'm an instructor at the Long Island CW Club. Lots of the other
instructors (and members for that matter) are members. I need to brush
up on my straight key skills, and this seems like a really good way to
do exactly that.
