 Thank you for the quick replies. Sorry, was driving home and couldn’t reply 
earlier. 

About the radials, they are 14ft each copper wires. Thanks for the suggestion 
about extending them. Will try to build more in the coming weekend’s.

On the radio, it’s a Yaesu ft710. I am using the dnr but last weekend was 
worse. I just went back and took down the antenna to figure out what’s going on.
On the power, I need to look into it this weekend. I am using a surge protector 
connected to powerwerx supply. Will try to connect directly and see if that’s 
the culprit.
About the inverted antenna, I need to explore this option. Should be a good 
learning experiment.
