The LPi wideband antenna article in the November QST is more of a cook-book article for a certain implementation with a 3:1 SWR and frequency range 21 to 29.7 MHz. I was looking for more info on the design and found that additional info in the Nov/December 2023 QEX. It is 6 pages of modeling run results and more commentary on the workings of the design. Significant fodder is provided to build the design for any segment from 160 thru to 10.
If you receive QST you can get the on-line version of QEX thru the ARRL web site at https://www.arrl.org/qex. Pretty cool sky hook article. I modeled the QST version and came out with nominal matching results. Still trying to figure out WHY it works as it does. If you build one let us know your take on the design and build.
