But I expected it to work that way. I guess (hope) that the comments are stored in the repository somehow, so that all plugins have access to them. When I do "uncommit", I can find the comments from the corresponding "commit" in "gcommit". Hence gcommit shares them with bzr somehow. I would want qcommit to also find the comments left by uncommit. Hence I expect all these to share the comments in a common storage. And then I should be able to do what you describe above. When qcommit meets my requirements, I won't use gcommit any more. Then it won't matter if I could share the comments between these two. But I need them to be shared with uncommit.
