Sure, my answer was more directed to Gary since we discussed that
issue previously :-)

In fact, bzr-gtk and qbzr both use an uncommit hook to get their
hands on the commit message.

That's the plan we discussed with Gary and others, but this is
not done yet :-/

I'm pretty sure they are, what is missing (I think) are the
per-file messages.
