Please don't contradict those who have put together this list, you'll confuse the OP. The list of books that this group approves of is found in the Welcome message. They closely follow the ANSI Standard. But you are right - they don't need to read books if they are willing to sit down and read the Standard. The whole point of a book though is to make the Standard more easy to digest/comprehend.
