Hum. Maybe I should have gone through a deprecation phase, like
deprecate the old syntax in cactus.properties (but continue supporting
it in addition to the new one).

There are only 2 changes documented in the migration guide (ok the guide
was not well advertised, I need to improve this). I wrote a month or two
ago and forgot about it ... :-)

You should find Cactus 1.3 much nicer to use (no big changes but lots of
small usability changes and quite a few bug corrections).
