Hi Jack, Medialib was a hard dependency of GTK before. I guess that's why gui-installer links directly to it. But now medialib is not a hard dependency now. In newer release of GTK, we use dlopen to load medialib and if it is not there we just use slower version of code from GTK. So it's safe to remove medialib now, I think.
