Hey All: When the 2008.11 dust settles, I'll start looking at the installer again.
>>> 1) Focus remaining on the "Next" button rather than going to the >>> first >>> thing in the panel that appears after you press "Next" >>> >> This should not be hard to fix but I wonder how does this affect A11Y? Orca's main job is to track changes to focus. So, when someone presses the "Next" key and focus remains on it, Orca tends to not say anything. In addition, I'd guess that the desire to reduce the number of keystrokes needed to install Solaris would benefit by not requiring the user to always tab off of the "Next" to the areas of the dialog that they need to interact with. >>> 2) It would be very very nice to be able to have caret/keyboard >>> navigation of all the stuff in the last page (the summary page) that >>> tells you what is going to be installed. >>> >> I will try to figure out how to fix this. This would be great. It would make for a much easier way for the user to review the data. For the rest of the stuff, I'll repeat my review of the installer. Things may have changed some, so it's really not worth rehashing everything again until we're sure where things are right now.
